I'm skipping Google Translate, as we all know it is rubbish for an accurate translation.
I would like a translation for "I will survive" please.
It has two meanings for me; I finally have the confidence and have experienced that I can handle anything that life throwes at me, whether this is physically, mentally or emotionally.
Also it is quite literal as I WILL survive the illness that I have. As a sort of pledge to myself.
I have searched for proverbs that will encompass this, but haven't found any. So bonus points if you do know one!

Ps I have considered I will overcome, but this probably has too much of a political meaning behind it?

Here are two possibilities:

"Tiocfaidh mé slán" (I will survive, I will come out of this, I will arrive safely, I'll come out the other side).

"Ní chloífear mé" (I won't be defeated).

I don't find that "I will overcome" sounds too political. Of course, it can be used for political movements, but it could be applied to any difficulty to be overcome, in my opinion.
