I am wanting to get a tattoo to represent my first born daughter and I would love to get some help on translating "my darling daughter" in either standard Irish or old Irish. Thank you for any help given!
There are countless ways to express 'darling' in Irish.
Here's one example:
CO:
m'iníon ghealSL:
m'inghean ghealor with ponc:
m'inġean ġealCian
Thank you for you help!
I thought gheal meant bright? Not that I would know much, haha.
I really appreciate it!
Yes
geal means 'bright', but it is also used as a term of endearment, e.g.
mo ghrá geal 'my darling love':

for example:
stór,
rún,
cuisle,
croí (literally these mean respectfully 'treasure', 'secret', 'pulse', 'heart').
Other options:
m'iníon mo chroím'iníon mo stór
