Hi! I want to get a tattoo of the phrase: "I live my life free of compromise" in Irish.

Can someone please help me out??

Compromise is a difficult one. In non-US English "compromise" is something people do to cooperate with each other, i.e., "meeting in the middle". In US English it means more like "bending from your ideals".

From the context it appears to be the latter here, so perhaps:

Mairim gan géilleadh ag duine ar bith "I live without submitting to anyone."

I agree with the do, in fact I thought of that later but haven't been back to check it and fix it yet.

However, I think it's gan ghéilleadh with lenition when it's on it's own, but gan géilleadh do dhuine ar bith because it is has a dependent phrase following it. That would need further checking by more advanced speakers.

So I think it should now be:

Mairim gan géilleadh do dhuine ar bith.
