First, the accent marks are ESSENTIAL. Without them, the word is misspelled, and may even change meaning. Every one of those "í's" needs an acute accent.

Second, you've left a letter out of the last word.

Thanks for the heads-up. Realized that my computer won't do the accent marks without loading a Gaelic font.
And the misspelled word is just my clumsy fingers. I've got it correct on the stencil and am drawing in the accent marks.

It would have to be íocaíocht, but I prefer Níl tearmann gan praghas.

Other possibilities:

Níl tearmann gan táille. "There is no sanctuary without a payment/reckoning."
Níl tearmann gan deachú. "There is no sanctuary without a tithe/tax."

I'd wait a little longer before inking ...
