I'm with Lughaidh on this. Why write broad endings when so many feminine words are slender in their ends.

I suppose it depends on whether you like a big or small end

Yeah, looks like in Connemara they use the dative case instead of the nominative case for all feminine words of the 2nd declension, ie:
muc > muic
cos > cois
bos > bois
fuinneog > fuinneoig
póg > póig
lámh > láimh
