Hello, Thank you for taking the time to look at this for me and any and all replies are greatly appreciated. I am looking to have this done on my arm as a tattoo and I would like to confirm that it is correct. Would it sound better to have the word "The" before each one? Can you also correct if I am missing any umlaut?

Spéir os mo chionn
Tine istigh ionam
Uisce i mo thimepall
Talamh fúm

Air above me
Fire within me
Water around me
Earth beneath me

I found this translation for my question below, so now I have no idea which may be correct?

Aeir os mo chionn
Dóiteáin taobh istigh dom
Uisce timpeall orm
Domhan faoi bhun dom

I'd lean toward the first one. But wait for more people to weigh in on that.

FWIW, the first word in the second one is misspelled. It should be "aer."

Wait for more.

Like Redwolf said I'd go with the first one.
You can change spéir to aer, so you have the four elements. (spéir means sky)

Yikes! Just noticed a typo in the first one as well! "Thimepall" should be "thimpeall."

Thank you both, So I just want to make sure if there should be an fada/umlaut for any of these words? Want to do it right.

Fada over the "e" in "spéir" and over the "u" in "fúm." We don't do umlauts.

You got the spelling thing with "timpeall," right?
