I would like to verify translation for a possible tattoo I will be getting. I got the idea from a shirt which translates the following four words
"COURAGE SACRIFICE DEDICATION TRADITION" as
"MISNEACH IOBART TOIRBHIRT TRAIDISION".

After going against all intuition I decided to first check with the infamous google translator which corrected it to
"COURAGE SACRIFICE DEDICATION TRADITION" as
"MISNEACH ÍOBAIRT DÚTHRACHT TRAIDISIÚN". I would like all capital letters for what difference that makes. If someone could please verify and correct anything that would be great. I'm trying to tie my Irish heritage to my firefighting career and don't want to rely on the fantastic auto translations for something relatively permanent.

Google Trashlate got it right for once. Your second attempt there is correct. "Dúthracht" is more "devotion" or "zeal," but I think it works here. Do wait for further input, though.

Looks good to me as well. Google can often handle single words or stock phrases well, because its algorithms find numerous cases of them online, but one does have to watch out for words which have alternate meanings in English, or for which Irish has several words, as Red noted.
