Hi, mates!

I've got a little question concerning the CORRECT tatoo translation.

How would "The lucky number 13" be in Irish?

Thanks in advance.

Since no one else has responded thus far, here's an Irish version of what I already gave you for Scottish Gaelic, with the word "number" added:

uimhir a trí-déag ádhúil
lucky number 13

We suggest waiting for three people to agree on something as a proper translation before you do any inking. Among other reasons for waiting in this case, there are several words for "lucky" in Irish, and someone may have a good argument for why ádhúil is not the right one to use here (or may have other suggestions as well).

Just saw this on foclóir, don't know if it may be another option:

Also noticed a little type o above:

So what's the right option then?

I locked you duplicate thread, Ted, and am bumping up your original thread for further comments. As Red said, please keep the discussion all in one thread, bumping it up when necessary with a new entry.

Also bear in mind that there may be more than one CORRECT way to say just about anything. The same is true of English, when you think about it. We can give you the options and explain the differences between them, but one won't necessarily be more "correct" than the other.
