Hello friends. I would be most appreciative for some assistance please. I really enjoy the Irish proverb:
Your son is your son until he marries, but your daughter is your daughter until you die. I believe the translation is:
Is é do mhac do mhac go bpósann sé ach is í d'iníon go bhfaighidh tú bás.
My question is, how would I phrase it if I wanted to drop the part about the son, and just say "Your daughter is your daughter until you die."?
