Redwolf mentioned the textbook Gaeilge gan Stró in another thread.

There appears to be an online version of Gaeilge gan Stró with sample lessons available free for trial at:

http://www.ranganna.com/

The sound files contain a range of native speakers from all three major dialects (though it doesn't point out which is which) and only a very small ratio of second-language speakers.

The author Éamonn Ó Dónaill is a native of Gaoth Dobhair in the Donegal Gaeltacht:

It looks like the book follows the curriculum for the Teastas Eorpach na Gaeilge exams. All the teaching materials for that course are available for free at http://www.teg.ie

The book Colloquial Irish is basically the same course, but in Cois Fhairrge dialect.

Ah, thanks, Mick. This page looks especially good:

Has anyone done the Gan Stró line course? The online trial looks pretty good, 3 month subscription of €45 and 6 months €80 and 12 months €149 this is compared to Rosetta Stone's online course which is €189 for 6 months and €289 for 12 months. A lot cheaper, but anyone any idea how comprehensive the material is?

Ranganna.com only offer Beginner & Lower Intermediate, I may give the Lower Intermediate a whirl in the new year. Any plans for introducing the other levels online?
