Ní ruithníonn an t-ór i gcónaí,
"Gold does not always glitter"

Ní bhíonn chuile fhánaí ar strae;
"Not every wanderer is lost"

Ní thréigeann an sean atá láidir,
"The old that is strong does not fail"

Ar fhréamh domhain ní thagann an sioc.
"Frost does not reach the deep root."

So this one is the one you guys think is best? Is the correction in this? Sorry Im SUPER easy to confuse...

ArtinWords, you've quoted a pre-edited version of the translation. Taoiseach's post gives the corrected version - albeit somewhat cryptically. ;)

You're not in our hair. We like to make sure we have a good translation before anyone inks, of course. I wish there was more discussion, criticism or confirmation happening for you.

As the warning states: we do prefer three to agree before using the translation on anything permanent.

@translators - Any more contributions?

Between the two sites I do have three who agree on one... but my sister and I decided to go on Tuesday so I have one more day. If I could get more input I would be grateful.
