Actually I thought it was a stronger word than that. I never looked it up before. I think it is one of either Tadhg's or Séamus Mhicil Tom's favourites too.

I'll try to think of some more.

You sometimes hear people ''insulting'' each other as a greeting, ''cén chaoi a bhfuil, a bhitch'' etc :mrgreen:

You'll hear that happening in English too (here, at least)...seems to be mostly men talking to other men, though ("Hello, you old bastard!" for example).
