TÁim Ábalta clóscríobh Á,É é,Í,í,ó,Ú,ú , not only is it driving me nuts, I need it for work, as I have to type in Irish every day.

Hi Dáithí, until someone can tell you how to reset it properly, I presume you can insert symbol in the meantime to tide you over. Not ideal I know. What happens now when you press Alt Gr and O?

Maybe you changed the keyboard language. Mine is "English (Ireland)".

Possibly re-setting to a restore point might get back your old settings.
Honestly I don't know.

Thanks Bríd, it seems insert a symbol will have to do for now. Cant quite figure it out, all the settings, e.g. languages and keyboard seem correct.

The á has decided to work again ó capital seems to have suddenly decided that its the shortcut key for some piece of software that has been on the machine, ages, must have been a new update .
