 Post subject: éistfidh/éisteoidh

I saw "éistfidh" written online. And as I said it I thought it strange to say it that way. So I looked it up and found that my way is acknowledged in the dictionary. :D

Interesting! One of those dialect things, so? I can't honestly remember if I've ever heard "éist" in the future tense, so I can't begin to comment re what might be more usual in Ulster...Lughaidh?

The CO form is "éistfidh", probably a Munster form.
In Ulster, people say "éisteochaidh", as far as I know :)

Yeah Éistfidh is the Munster form. Sometimes Eistfidh.
