I wouldn't worry about that. Redwolf is correct. But we sometimes don't use the genitive in Connemara. So you can think of both as correct in speech.

A few common ones around here:

The devil is prominent in curses in Irish.
Go dtachta an diabhal thú. - May the devil choke you.

Scread mhaidhne ort - may you have morning screams

Calar ort - may you get cholera (may sound a bit outdated now as nobody get cholera anymore in Ireland, but I remember my mother not liking people saying it :) )
