dia daoibh 'chuile dhuine. Táim ag baint taitneamh as an Verbal Noun inniu (le pronouns le bheith cruinn beacht faoi).

Just looking at a few examples in Basic Irish eg: Bhí sí do do phógadh - She was kissing you.

Would Bhí sí do mo phógadh be "She was kissing me" ?

Also the chapter explains how ag chnges to do and how do + a = á and do + ár = dár but doesn't mention what do + bhur is....any thoughts?

GRMMA
I'm all over the place today it shouldn't be Bhí sí do... but Bhí sí á.... right?

Yes: Bhí sí do mo phógadh = She was kissing me.

do + bhur = do bhur (in Standard Irish):
Bhí sí do bhur bpógadh = She was kissing (all of) you.

That seems a bit misleading in my opinion. Ag doesn't have to change to do

You could have also said: Bhí sí ám phogadh

Ag + a= á (á + séimhiú= at his; á + h-prefix, no mutation on consonants= at her; á + urú = at their)

i.e. á dhéanamh at his doing; á déanamh at her doing; á ndéanamh at their doing. You probably use this without even realising it.

They probably used do because it looks less ambiguous when when you add the possessive adjective.

Its just do bhur in the CO, or d'úr in Munster Irish.

I don't think so, I thought do + a = ; ag + a = á.

Munster:

Bhí sí am' phógadh (it's "ag mo phógadh" but "ag" isn't pronounced)
Bhí sí ad' phógadh
Bhí sí á phógadh
Bhí sí á pógadh
Bhí sí ár bpógadh
Bhí sí úr bpógadh
Bhí sí á bpógadh

The use of "do" in the Caighdeán like:
Bhí sí do do phógadh

is, as far as any source I've read, an etymological error in the Caighdeán. They thought that modern Irish dialects were using a corrupt form of a construction that
involved do in Classical Irish. It was a popular theory at the time, since Classical Irish wasn't as well understood.

East Munster Irish (Sean-Chaint na nDéise, pg. 8):

'gem phógadh
'ged phógadh ('ge-t before vowels)
'gena/ geá p(h)ógadh
'genár bpógadh
'genúr bpógadh
'gena/ geá bpógadh

See pg. 20 for de/ do.

Cois Fharraige (from Learning Irish):

Tá sí do mo phógadh (/gə mə/)
Tá sí do do phógadh (/gə gə/)
Tá sí dhá phógadh (/ɣɑ:)
Tá sí dhá pógadh (/ɣɑ:)
Tá sí dhár bpógadh (/ɣɑ:)
Tá sí dho'ur bpógadh (/ɣɑ:)
Tá sí dhá bpógadh (/ɣɑ:)

I will say, however, that a friend of mine from Carraroe wrote something similar to what Lughaidh shows: Níl muid do iarraidh. Also, it's /aː/ elsewhere in Connemara, as far as I can see.
