Does a Gaelic version of "Twinkle Twinkle little star" exist as gaeilge? Or a song with the same melody?

Not sure there is an official version. Braoin once gave the following version that he had used with his own kids:



Here's my own attempt (apologies to Braoin):

Lonraigh, lonraigh, a réaltóigín
Déanaim machnamh cé thú héin
Thuas os cionn an domhain go léir
Is tú mar sheoidín deas sa spéir
Lonraigh, lonraigh, a réaltóigín
Déanaim machnamh cé thú héin.

That should be singable to the original melody.

This is the version my kids learned somewhere - but I cannot for the life of me remember where! I think it must have been in a book. Clearly, it is far from a direct translation, but it's what we have sung at home.
