I am sure people have asked for this translation before but I could not find it in the forum. How would you translate: Live. Laugh. Love.

I understand there may be some variations as far as translating them as nouns or verbs, but whichever makes the most sense.

I am mostly Irish and am really into my heritage and would like some of my personal beliefs expressed through my heritage's language. Thanks for any help, I really appreciate it.

Because some of those words aren't really used as verbs in Irish, we generally recommend using nouns for all of them:

Beatha. Gáire. Grá. Life. Laughter. Love.

Interestingly, I think you may be the first man who's ever asked us for this one. For a long time it was our number-one tattoo request among women.

Which posts? If you mean the ones recommending Beatha. Gáire. Grá., they were on another forum which, sadly, has fallen apart. Most of the same people, though, are now here, and should be able to give you more input.

I think what Redwolf has given you are fairly standard for this quote around these parts.

(I always thought it would be great to find another word starting with g to replace the first one, as it would round out the alliteration. but I haven't been able to find anything myself. )
