I'm getting a tattoo and want to put the gaelic translation for "Family Forever". I'd also like to look at "Our Family Forever" since this is permanent I can't rely on the internet alone, and this forum looks legit. thanks!

I won't even attempt this as I shy away from anything involving the translation of the word 'family'.

There is no true word for family in Irish. Instead, you have a few options depending on the circumstances.

Teaghlach is commonly taught as meaning 'family', but it refers to your household as opposed to 'biological family'.

Clann refers to your offspring / children.

Muintir refers to your 'people' and I'd say is the best approximate for 'family' in the English language sense of the word family.

I'll leave this for someone else to comment, but I think the translation will depend on what you mean by family.
