My name is Craig Coffey and I hope you are doing well in 2020!
I was sent here by Redwolf to get some guidance.
I am interested in getting a tattoo or four.
The first one I would like to get is Coffey or O’Cobhthaigh translated in Gaelic.
I was wondering what the Gaelic spelling and lettering would be and look like.
The other tattoos I would like to get are of my wife and children’s names.
Amy…Tyler…Tori
Gaelic translation or spelling/lettering would be awesome as well.
I have looked at several things on the internet and my head is spinning.
Hoping I can get some guidance!
Stay well!
Best regards,
Craig
Ó Cobhthaigh
Ó CoḃṫaiġName translations are usually not possible.
Amy…Tyler…ToriAmy perhaps
Aimilíona or
EimíleTyler literally translated "slinneadóir" (a slater, tiler - not a name in Irish)
Tori is a short form of Victoria. There is no translation.
Buadhach, "Victor", is a male name only.
