Hello everyone,

My knowledge of Irish Gaelic is slight at best, and sparked by learning to sing "Be Thou My Vision" in Irish Gaelic, but I have a fascination for language in general and would enjoy learning more. :D (I sing and play instruments, including pennywhistle, and enjoy giving many of my musical arrangements a Celtic flair.)

I came across this forum after a fruitless search for the translation of a beautiful Irish lullaby, so I will head on over to the translation section of the forum and post it there for you to hear!

Dia dhuit a chara,
You might like to listen to Nóirín Ní Riain - Stór Amhrán (book and CD) - published by Ossian - ISBN 978 1 84772 254 6

The order of the songs as recorded on the CD isn't given in the book, unfortunately. You can find it on the Discogs page -
