Hey everyone, I have been considering getting a new tattoo of Gaelic text in the near future. Some context for what I'm looking for in terms of meaning; Myself and a number of close friends have often struggled with depression and/or suicidal thoughts. I was looking for a phrase/saying that embodies the notion to be thankful for each day, or to stay alive. I greatly appreciate any and all help. Thank you so much!

Maybe Lá amháin eile translates as "One More Day". I think there may be dozens of ways to express something like this so wait for more ideas from others.

Not exactly on point, but an expression I like is:

Bain ceol as an saol
Enjoy life (“Draw music from life”).

And, along the lines of "enjoy the little things":

Snáith an práta beag leis an bpráta mór.
Relish the small potato with the big potato
