Hello!
There is a book called ''Democracy: The God That Failed'' that I was wondering what a translation of it would be in Irish. I dont know what the best way to translate it would be as to me it doesnt have a ''object'' as in how Irish is VSO word order
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Verb%E2%8 ... 0%93object. Sorry if this is dumb/not allowed.
Thanks so much!
An Daonlathas: An Dia ar Theip Air.("teip ar" is a somewhat strange verb, in what you fail is rather its subject:
Teipeann an rud ar Dhia = God fails in something.
Teipeann ar Dhia é a dhéanamh. = God fails to do it.
Without mentioning it, a subject is totally absent:
Teipeann ar Dhia = God fails.)
