Is there a way I could be allowed to send a private message? I'm a site member but I haven't been here very often (hardly at all), because I'm a senior in college and buried in schoolwork. However, I've chosen a project for this next semester that relates to Irishness and identity and stuff (totally an excuse to learn Irish as homework - don't tell my prof ) But I'm supposed to send a message with info/contact info (mine, my prof's, etc) to the moderator, and get moderator permission, before I use info from this site, as it's for an anthropology class.

I figured it wouldn't be appreciated if I just posted a bunch of random things in order to "level up" and be able to send messages.

Please tell me if this is okay.
