I was hoping someone could help me with a translation of something that I wanted to get for a family tattoo.

Was hoping for "Family First" or "Family Over All". Something of the sorts depending on how it looks translated. Any other suggestions of what might look or work better would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Jeff

There are three different words in Irish for family.

clann 'children'

teaghlach 'household'

muintir 'extended family'.

Tús áite (a thabhairt) don teaghlach 'household first'

Tús áite (a thabhairt) don mhuintir 'extended family first'

Cian
