We meet every 2nd Wednesday at 8pm in a bar called Meeting Point, beside the European Commission, near metro stops Schuman and Maelbeek. We've had as few as three and as many as fifteen people and we haven't missed any dates since we started in May. We get a mix of people from the EU's translation departments, emigrants who went to gaelscoils, and learners like me (although no one else with a level as low as mine has turned up yet - but all levels are welcome!).
There's no structure to it, we just have a few drinks (hard or soft), start talking in Irish about the language or current events.
If anyone's in Brussels and wants to exercise their Gaeilge, do drop by! We have a little Irish flag on the table so you can recognise us even before you hear us.
