Hi all,

I would like to get a tattoo that says "Here forever in time, we survive as memories" in Irish.

At the moment "anseo go deo in am, mairimid mar cuimhní" is the translation that I am working with, but I would greatly appreciate it if you all could help me to make sure that it is correct or to give any suggestions to make sure it is perfect!

I'm not sure how others feel, but in am to me means "in time (to catch a bus)" or "it's time (we were leaving)". Perhaps go deo na ndeor would convey the meaning of "forever in time" better:

anseo go deo na ndeor, mairimid mar cuimhní

Also I'd prefer fanaimid "we remain" instead of mairimid "we survive" as mairimid also means "we live", but I suppose mairimid is no less enigmatic than the English.

My translations are usually GU (Ulster Irish), unless CO (Standard Orthography) is requested.
