I have been thinking for several days about a construction that I THOUGHT I had heard or seen in a class. Now I can find it nowhere. Please someone tell me if I'm dreaming or if there's something to this memory.
I seem to remember that there is a way to use "chun" to mean "about" "just" in the meaning of time. I want to say:
THOUGHT HOW I REMEMBER SEEING IT
I am/was just going outside/I am/was about to leave - Tá mé chun dul amach.
I'm just now buying/about to buy the cow. - Tá mé chun an bó a cheannach.
Can these be said this way, and if not, how are they said?
I'd like to know Ulster, Standard, and Connemara Irish for this.
Thanks
Féabar
