my last name is OKeefe, i have found several variations of the spelling OKeeffe, Okeefe, Keefe ect.
i believe the original spelling is OQuiffe.. does anyone know?

The original Irish spelling is Ó Caoimh from caomh - gentle.It is a Munster name found especially in Cork.OQuiffe may have been an Englis vairant but is not possiblr in Irish as there is no Q in that alphabet
