Hi guys
I'll be visiting the green isle in two months and I wanted to get a tattoo to commemorate my visit.
I've been dreaming of visiting Ireland for over 15 years!!!!

So... the sentence I would like your help in translating is:
"Know your heart"

Please help :)

Thank you

Totally forgot to mention that I'm looking for the Irish Gaelic translation.
Thank you

I've moved your thread here from the Gaelic part of the forum, and ma locking this post so that there are not two competing ones.

There are several ways to approach that In Irish. Here's one, but wait to see what others think:

Bíodh eolas agat ar do chroí féin.
Know your own heart.

Thank you do much
I'll wait for additional replies

Google translated it:
Tá a fhios do chroí

Is it even remotely accurate?

Not even close!

I wonder would 'tuiscint' be a worthy substitute for 'eolas'?

My offering is: 'Bíodh tuiscint ar do chroí féin agat.' (Have an understanding/awareness of your own heart.)

Wait for more input.

Yes, in this context tuiscint does seem better than eolas: understanding versus pure knowledge.

So is this the final suggestion?
'Bíodh tuiscint ar do chroí féin agat.'

How do I pronounce it?
:)

I agree with this..."tuiscint" makes the most sense to me.
