Hello, I am writing a book with a lot of Irish language used, so I will probably be here a lot.

How would you say, "Come together as one." I am trying to write it as a command, as in the speaker is using it as an incantation of sorts.

Do you mean - let us come together - or - you (other people) come together ?
I suggest - Tagaimis le chéile mar dhuine amháin - or - Tagaigí le chéile mar dhuine amháin (if it's the second case) - but wait for confirmation from the others.

Would 'cuir' not be better here rather than the direct translation of 'come' ? And perhaps muintir to express a collective of people? Perhaps even 'pobal' would work here. What do you think?

cuirimis le chéile mar mhuintir amháin - Let's unite as one people

or


cuirigí le chéile mar mhuintir amháin -Unite as one people (all of you)

Thank you all very much! The character is using the phrase to direct materials to weave together, sort of like a spell, so he isn't talking to people. I suppose just "come together" would be fine too, probably better.

If he directs materials, so tagaigí le chéile.
