Afternoon everyone,

I'm currently undertaking a research project into the disparity of opinions of the respective Irish and Welsh speaking publics versus that of academics in terms of the successes and/or failures in language revitalisation in both languages. I would be very grateful if any Irish speakers could provide around 250 words outlining where you think revitalisation efforts have been either particularly successful or what you count as failures. My intention is to keep the study as unbiased as possible and, despite many of you not being native Irish speakers but having great expertise on the subject, I must ask that only native speakers provide answers.

Anyone who provides an answer will be thanked in the acknowledgements section of the study and the results will be provided on the forum when finished.

Thanks for reading.

Tom.
