What is the plural of Grian?
I'd like to say Na dhá grian...
Its an
an dághrian.
Dhá, always takes the singular article, even when in the plural. Note also, that
dhá delinites when preceded by the def. article, hence
an dá.
In traditional Munster Irish, this would be
an dá ghréin, due to the fact that
dhá/
dá introduces the
foirm dhé 'dual form'.
