I am looking for translations of two different phrases for a tattoo one for each inner bicep.

He who dares wins & Victory comes through harmony

Hope I can get some help and thanks.

Hi, welcome to ILF.

I think there are some traditional Irish proverbs that might fit those meanings.

I am still looking for the first one, but to get you started, here's one for the second idea that may work:

Ní neart go cur le chéile - often translated as "Unity is strength", but literally meaning "there is no strength until all is put together".

Some ideas for the first phrase:

Ní bhíonn bua mór gan chontúirt. "There is no great victory without danger."

Dhá thrian den chath an misneach. "Two thirds of the battle is courage."

Is trua an ceart nuair a bhíonn sé gan neart. "Right is pitiful when it is without might."

(The last one is the only one I could find with neart in it. The nuance is different from what you were after but it might tie the two together. :dhera: )

Await further input, especially if it is to be inked ...

For "He who dares wins" there is the well known saying,

Níor chaill fear an mhisnigh riamh.
The brave man never loses.

Ah, yes. Good one. :good: (My list wasn't as comprehensive as I thought. )
