I wanted to share the book trailer with everyone at this group because you have been so instrumental in this series coming into being. I think you will recognize the speaker at the beginning. :D Below is a portion of the text of the acknowledgements at the end of Book 1. I wanted everyone here to read it.

Book 1 is scheduled for release in March of 2013.

The Back Cover Blurb:
Michael O’Fallen simply wants to survive. A poor Irish boy living in post-Civil War New York, the events of one horrible night send him running–far south to unsettled Florida and an unplanned marriage with a girl he doesn’t know.

Now, he must protect her from the lust and greed of evil men and figure out how to make their escape. Will the dangers and perils they face tear their marriage apart? Or will he finally find true Love & Redemption?

My Acknowledgements:
Something must be said of a historical nature about the facts in this book. Much of what I learned about the Irish in New York City comes from the book The New York Irish by Ronald H. Bayor and Timothy J. Meagher, an invaluable research tool for this series.

The translations into Irish Gaelic come from the kind people at the Irish Language Forum. I did not realize until three-quarter way into the story my need for the language or how ignorant I was of the Irish in 1870. The people at the forum translated passages for me, recommended songs and poems, and pointed me in the direction of the aforementioned book. I am in their continued debt.

It sounds like an interesting trilogy.
I hope you have success with them.
Remind us again in March.
And thanks for the acknowledgement. :GRMA:

I will do that! And you're welcome. It was well deserved.

Thanks! Yep, worth every dime, and I don't think I'll entirely disappear. This book series is followed by another - a spin off - and besides, I like it here. Glad you like the book covers. I designed them myself.
