dia daoibh, just a quick one today. Lisiting through Buntús Cainte 1 there and got to lesson 25, in the convo section at the end of each lesson it gives the new word "ná - nor" fair enough me thinks, then the covo follows, Seán is chancing his arm here but Nóra isnt having any of it:

Seán: Bhí an clog luath, is dócha.
Nóra: Ní raibh ná luath, maise.

Its Nóra's response thats gets me, maybe hers is just a better way of saying it and i know one shouldnt always translate directly but given they gave "ná" as "nor" I cant help but reading it as "It wasnt nor fast", could she have said "ní raibh sé luath" ?

'maith agaibh

Although it would also be possible to say "ní raibh sé luath", here is an intensifier dismissing Seán's statement with greater force, "it _was_ _not_ fast, at all", "it wasn't anything like fast". (This usage is under 3 2. in FGB, which is "nor" as you surmised.)
