being dyslexic i often found it realy hard to search for things i couldn't spell in the dictionary as after the first letter my attempt could be way off the mark

This obsession seriously began for me about 10 months ago - and almost the first advice I took on board from who knows where, was: if you can't find it in the dictionary, leave off the first letter, and then maybe the second as well! Never heard such nonsense in my life - but hey it works quite often!

I love the stretching of my pea brain, it is SO different from everything ever learnt before, and love this Forum for the impossible moments!

In English, it's the end of the word that changes; so the Irish language – where it's the beginning of the word that often changes – takes a little getting used to.
