... is nice and simple and has my vote!

I don't like it in this case. it doesn't carry the meaning of "owing" at all.

Paróiste Múrach is where the "purest" or the best speakers are but it's off the tourist trail as such. The Blasket is something to behold alright, my favourite place on the world.

What about Cill Chuain and Cill Maolcháidear?

Also is there any difference between Martháin and Paróiste Múrach?

In my book (Myles Dillon & Ó Cróinín 1961 Edition) 'How much?' is given as - an mór? So in Exercise 54, Question Number 8 is - How much money does he owe you? and the answer given in the key is - An mór an t-airgead atá agat air?

Márthain is the area up the clasach by the mountain and Cill Maolcháidear is a townsland close to Muiríoch where the old church is. Cill Chuain is a townsland in the Paróiste Múrach. You can straight out to Cuas a Bhodaigh from there...all really beautiful places.

Thanks, I never really had this straight in my head from talking to people. I thought Cill Chuain was a separate parish from Paróiste
Múrach.
