I really enjoy comparing different translation of the Bible in English to each other. I have an interlinear Hebrew translation and an interlinear Septuagint, and I like seeing how everything compares to each other.

I own a copy of the An Tiomna Nua and An Bíobla Naofa. The An Tiomna Nua is quite different than the Munster Irish that I am learning, but I still enjoy spending time trying to translate verses. The Bíobla Naofa seems a bit closer to what I'm learning, but the text is so small!!!

I also have the Cork bible that DJWebb recommended to me downloaded to my computer. I don't spend much time in that one because I don't like reading words of a screen. I'm thinking about paying to have it bound into a book.

I'm not good enough at Irish to have any sort of opinion on the various translations of the Bible into Irish. Does anybody here have opinions on what translation they prefer, and why they prefer it?

Thanks for your time!!
